Today my daughter and I went to Jenkinson's Aquarium where I saw my first striped bass of 2012. I can't believe that with the millions of stripers that were caught along the Jersey Shore this fall that a few better specimens couldn't be acquired.
I went out last night for a bit on the incoming from 9-11 pm. Fished 8th Ave, Allenhurst, and Deal in a brisk S wind and hardly any water off the rocks. Saw one other angler who said he see saw a low teens keeper coming off the rocks up north.
Looks like a cold spell is coming this way for the next several days, followed by 50 degree days after that!
