Nice to see the surf calm down a little bit from yesterday. Still off color it was at least fishable today in the snow. Worked up and down two groins and fished some fishy water going with a chartreuse and white and then orange and white Deceiver without a bump. The birds were out fishing, not in the air, but swimming along the rocks and beach but they too seemed to come up empty. I'm hanging my hat on the fact that the herring will show up and get those bass still hanging around interested in some bigger baits. It better happen sooner than later because I feel were going to have a real winter this season.
