Wow, winters back. Cold temps and snow across the region with gusty winds. Its dropped the water temperatures a bit, when they should be rising. The Delaware River has dropped down to 53 degrees. I haven't been out the last day or so so I don't know if its killed the bite, not that I was really on the bite.
Today in the mail I received a delivery from Orvis. I had really beat up my lines in the river so they were ready to be replaced. I got a 300 gr and 450 gr line, the heavier line going on my 12 wt rod. I may hit it tonight before midnight when the tide is up.
