With stripers on everyone's mind no one wants to see pictures of a few flatfish. But you can only take what the ocean gives up. A big fluke and a sundial couldn't resist a Jonny King Kinky Muddler tossed just past the rock field on the end of the outgoing tide. I saw a nice bass caught way out front that fell to a guy soaking clams. Just when you say to yourself the bass aren't there on a particular day a guy goes and catches a 32" fish to blow up your theory, or excuse.
