09.19.13 Tying up some bait for tomorrows trip....

It's that time of year again, thankfully. With the mullet starting to exit the bays and rivers presenting mullety flies will help your chances in hooking a fish. For many there's no better imitation than a Lou Tabory Snake Fly. A little tricky to tie but once you get it down they become easier. The beauty of the Snake Fly is the action of the ostrich in the tail with the marabou collar. The deer hair spun sparsely keeps the fly just below the surface. It's a winner. Below if Tim Flager of Tightline Productions video of the Snake Fly. Tim does a great job with all his videos and ties.
