Soon the rocks will be filled with anglers throwing large plugs and poppers to striped bass and bluefish along the Jersey Shore. It will be hard to find scenes like the one above, a lone angler out enjoying the beautiful sunrise or sunset with the hope of at least casting to fish. I would take this above blitzing fish with packed groins or jetties any day of the week. As I predicated a few weeks ago, I think this year we will see an invasion of anglers along the Jersey Shore, probably due to the banner fall run that never ended, and the ever growing communication and information age.
We need to get back to fishing....and enjoying all that comes with it.
