Well I am off to Costa Rica for a week. I am not a seasoned traveler, unless 25 times to Disney World makes me one. My mother won a bid to stay in this great place and my mom is taking her children and their spouses down for a week. I think I have all I need. Some clothes, some flies, a few fly rods and a bunch of reels and spools. I just today got a copy of Nicholas Karas first edition of his 1974 book- The Complete Book Of The Striped Bass, which will be my vacation reading.

" This is a beautiful, brand new, custom-built private villa on the mountainside overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Playa Hermosa, Guanacaste. Playa Hermosa is a small, safe village on the 'Gold Coast' of Costa Rica, just 20 minutes from the international airport in Liberia. It has several excellent restaurants, and some spots with local flavor. It is between the busy tourist town of Playas del Coco- with more restaurants, nightclubs and a casino, and the elegant Papagayo Peninsula, location of the Four Seasons Resort."
