Hit the outgoing around midday. Found tons of birds working off the ends of the rocks...and gannets doing their high speed dives for what could be the start of the herring run. SE wind was stiff and most of my fishing was done on the north side of the rocks. Didn't see or move a fish in the hour I was out there.
One thing I did see, and always seem to catch, is President Obama's fleet of helicopters making their way south down along the Jersey Shore. usually they are in a staggered formation. Today they came one at a time about five minutes apart. Last night the President and Mitt Romney were hooping it up at a joint fundraiser for kids at Carnegie Hall.
