The other day Steve went through some pics from trips past to Martha's Vineyard. That's what probably got the juices flowing in our brains to maybe try and put together oner more trip. He sent me a few frames from a day we were out on the scout somewhere between Dogfish Bar and under the lighthouse at Aquinnah. The Vineyard is such a special place when it comes to fly fishing. Now the heyday years are past us but it is a great place to catch some numbers and the excitement of seeing bass, some times big bass, cruise across the flat in front of you. It may be the hardest type of fishing, sight fishing, as the timing of the fish being there, the right tide, the right time of day, with nearly zero wind and a high bright sun have to occur in order to increase your chances of seeing and catching.
