Thank God I work the next three days. Three days of 12 hour shifts. No chance to think about or go fishing, well I'm working 11am-11pm on Saturday so there's always the morning.....
After yesterday's blank I devised a plan and shared it with my buddy Rich. Tide would be an hour later, birds were on herring yesterday, maybe I'll go south and give it a go right at first light. Found saucy conditions but about an hour found no one home.
I stopped along the way ending up in the back of the bay. Didn't see any bait, birds were looking defeated, water still hovering at 40. I know, I know, it's too early. I just can't wait till it starts.
