07.02.10 A day late for the "big water" on the West Branch

Funny thing. The last two days we floated skinny water on the West Branch and Upper Main. Hale Eddy was running about 415 cfs. Well early this morning it was almost double that, over 800 cfs. It would have been nice to navigate that river with water in it. Right now, at 950 pm, it's 872 cfs. It's coming at just the right time, it's supposed to hot tthrough the weekend and the start of next week. I am planning on taking the Queen on a float on Tuesday, maybe Stilesville to Hale Eddy.
