It's that time of year again, or not. We all anticipate and wonder is there will be a good mullet run, and more importantly, will there be bass around and on them. I've heard there are mullet around and some bass have been caught. It might not be like it was 10 years ago when for a few weeks every morning you could go down and see if not catch bass blowing up on the shore hugging bait.
I first wrote about it in 2014, and you can see that post HERE, which includes a video from Tim Flagler on tying Lou Tabory's Snake Fly, which is just deadly when the mullet are around. It's an early morning bite, and black always seemes to be an early preferred color.
