Even though it was 16 degrees out this morning I needed to get down on the beach and walk. Lots of stuff going on in my parts as of late and there's nothing more uplifting and relaxing then a walk on the beach.
It was an outgoing tide with a west wind and I just walked and imagined the day, if it ever comes, of spending the mornings fly fishing in the surf. There aren't too many things I enjoy more then starting the day off casting flies towards the sun as it breaks on the horizon. When it does, I usually hold my line and just take it in, just lucky to start another day in such a beautiful setting.
