03.17.21 Funny how they mimic each other...


      Just a quick look at the early season temps are looking at the Raritan Bay and Delaware River. Look weeks warm temps had the temps around 48-50 degrees, but this cold spell now has them coming in around 40. For those fish that moved in with the warm water, they most likely are in a holding pattern waiting to continue to move in and up. Not easy to fool them with a fly just yet as they are rooting and laying low as things wait to heat up, no doubt those circle-hook-only bait fisherman will have the first shots at them this week.
