On the beach way early again today about 330 am. Couldn't pop anything up or get them with dark flies fished big and small in tandem. When the sun came up it was throwing an AMC to fluke in the wash. Lost a keeper at the rocks after watching it leave the bottom and inhale the fly. I tried to walk back to the beach from the groin and played it all wrong and lost the fish.
Leif had some interesting chow come up after landing a fluke. It looks like a large and eel but could be a juvenile hake? Not sure on that one. The ride down is killing me to fish that tiny window before the sun comes up and the beachgoers invade the beach.
