Hearing the boats have been getting bass on the bottom, the middle and the top of the water column. Tomorrow is go day for a boat trip and just to be safe I tied up a "Five Minute 5/0". What is it? A 5/0 popper that took about 5 minutes to tie. Nothing special. I did angler the back end of the popper to allow for some tying room. Maybe it'll look like a peanut bunker in distress if I find bass on top somewhere. Fingers crossed...as always.
