This weekend is the International Fly Tying Symposium. It'll be held at the Double Tree Hilton and Somerset Hotel and Conference. The doors open at 9 am. It's a great place to pick up some materials. Brad Buzzi will be there for all your buck tail and fly tying needs. Squimpish Flies will be there and if you haven't tried those synthetic fibers they are about the best for both the beginner and advanced fly tyer. Keogh usually has good picking bins and theres still a few shops that come, such as N.J.'s own Tightlines.
One new hot item you'll see is the new line of hooks put out by Ahrex. It's the Bob Popovic's Beast Fleye hooks, one in standard length and the other long. Both come in sizes 4/0, 6/0, and 8/0. You can pick some up at the Ahrex booth.
