What a great surprise. After a dead stop still July and August it was nice to get back out there and find some bass. Got out in the dark and just as light arrived got a 26" bass on a Brad Buzzi sand eel fly.
Have perfect conditions, end of the outgoing, west wind, some white water, some bait in the wash, and a few bass out on the prowl. I picked u a second smaller bass before sunup. In addition, there was a beautiful sunrise before the clouds rolled in and the rain started.
This was just the kind of return I needed.
